Ubah Hassan shades Brynn Whitfield amid tense ‘RHONY’ feud, pretends she doesn’t know her: ‘Who?’
“Real Housewives of New York City” star Ubah Hassan is throwing hot sauce on her feud with castmate Brynn Whitfield.
When Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast asked Hassan, 41, about the conflict that played out with Whitfield, 38, in Tuesday’s Season 15 premiere, the model pretended not to know the marketing consultant.
“Who?” she said during a group interview with fellow “RHONY” personalities Sai De Silva, Racquel Chevremont and Rebecca Minkoff.
The response incited a burst of giggles from the group, prompting Hassan to joke further.
“I have extensions,” she said while flipping her long, wavy hair. “These are long. I can’t hear you.”
In the first few minutes of last night’s episode, it’s revealed that Hassan and Whitfield were not on speaking terms on June 25, 2024 — five days after filming wrapped and when the ladies had to reconvene at Pier59 Studios to shoot their opening credit sequence for the Bravo reality show.
This was after barbs were thrown by each woman during production. As seen in a trailer for Season 15, Whitfield shaded Hassan for taking modeling gigs for Dressbarn, while it appeared as though the latter accused the former of “s–king dick” for a job.
In one flashback scene, Hassan teased that Whitfield made an offensive remark on camera that has yet to be aired.
“You want the f–king tape? She said that!” Hassan said before Whitfield shouted back, “[Hassan is] a six-foot f–king toddler!”
In another moment, Hassan seemingly gave her co-stars — and production — an ultimatum. “If you guys believe her, I quit,” she stated.
At the opening credits shoot, Erin Lichy and Jessel Taank shared their frustration over the matter.
“We need to stand up for what’s right,” Lichy, 37, said, to which Taank, 41, replied, “I think you and I have kind of been in the middle of this. We’re both really close with Ubah, we’re both really close with Brynn.”
Lichy couldn’t even fathom Whitfield and Hassan coming face to face for a day of work after the drama that transpired.
“I don’t even know how they’re going to be in the same room together today,” she told Taank during hair and makeup.
The real estate agent also noted that there “needs to be apologies on both sides” from Whitfield and Hassan.
Hassan told “Virtual Reali-Tea” that she wants fans to pay close attention as their discord escalates throughout the new “RHONY” installment.
“Take your notes and start writing them. Just watch the show and at the end, you can decide,” she teased. “Don’t come to conclusions. Please watch it, all the episodes.”
“The Real Housewives of New York City” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
