Home and Away fans have been left praying to the Summer Bay gods after rumours of a fan favourite character’s contract being up, with the actor currently appearing to be on holidays and nowhere NEAR Sydney’s Palm Beach. Uh oh.

While rumours have been floating for some time that Luke Van Os, who plays Xander, and Kirsty Marillier, who plays Rose, will be leaving the show after their three-year contracts finish, it’s been pointed out that Emily Weir who plays Mackenzie Booth would also have her contract potentially ending around a similar time.

One admin pointed this out in a Home and Away Facebook fan group, saying while it wasn’t confirmed, Emily’s “contract is up and she has been travelling with Sarah Roberts and Tim Franklin” who are two of her former Home and Away co-stars. Yahoo Lifestyle has reached out to Channel Seven for comment about the rumours.
