Earlier this week one fan speculated Felicity would be shot and killed in a River Boys revenge act, gone wrong. “OK now I’ve read more into it about what happens next week… Looks, like the River Boys come back for revenge for Cash for putting Rory and Dingo in jail,” the fan posted in a Facebook group.
“They meant to shoot at Cash and kill him but instead they miss and shoot Felicity instead. This all happens at Eden’s and Cash’s engagement party next Monday (12th of August) leading into Tuesday!”
Home and Away’s Jacqui Purvis on the fate of Felicity
In an old interview with Yahoo Lifestyle, filmed in 2022, Jacqui said she wanted Felicity’s exit to be ‘dramatic’.
“I want to be killed off, I want a really dramatic death, like a really intense, gory, everyone’s crying,” she said. “And yep, death, die!”
After the resurfaced interview appeared in a Facebook fan group, fans weighed in on the fate of Felicity and how sad they’ll be to see Jacqui go.
“It’s going to be a sad night if she dies. The worst death I watched was when Robbo died, I cried for days,” one person said. “Can’t kill Flick off. I was hoping Tane and Flick got back together,” someone else said.
“Wish she wasn’t leaving! One of the best actresses ever!” another person commented.
“Flick, I know it’s acting but please don’t die because I will never get over that grief. Find another way of leaving the show,” one fan begged, while in huge accolades, someone else commented, “All the best you have been the best actress on the show ever.”
It appears as though Flick is due to meet her grisly, dramatic end next week — so stay tuned and get the tissues ready!
Home and Away series producer shares warning to fans ahead of tragic episode
A Home and Away insider has told fans to keep tissues close by ahead of a favourite character’s death.
Ahead of what is set to be a very dramatic and heartbreaking week on Home and Away, series producer Lucy Addario has warned fans to “make sure your tissue box is close by” with a series regular exiting the show on tonight’s episode by going to the other side. And no, we don’t mean Mangrove River.
For weeks, the build-up to a fan favourite character’s death has been gripping Home and Away fans, with everyone 99.9% certain the person we’re saying goodbye to his Felicity Newman, played by Jacqui Purvis.
The death of Flick will take place tonight on Channel 7 and 7plus, at 7pm and ahead of the emotional (and no doubt very dramatic) goodbye, Lucy has said the episode will be absolutely “massive”.
In an interview with 7NEWS.com.au, Lucy said, “Tonight is a massive episode of Home and Away. I promise you won’t want to miss this one!” before going on to say, “Cash and Eden’s magical surprise engagement party on the beach will see a big number of our Summer Bay favourites coming together to celebrate the joy.”
YEAH, WELL SOUNDS LIKE THE JOY WILL BE SHORT-LIVED, WON’T IT LUCY?!
Sorry, sorry, I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed.
Other that the looming threat of Flick’s death, Eden and Levi’s little sister Abigail will be rocking up in the Bay to bring her family back together again. “Her surprise arrival will ignite a huge storyline for the Fowler siblings,” Lucy said. “There’s a lot going on at this party … from every angle. And then to top it all off, tragedy will strike with the life of one of our most beloved characters on the line.”
My already high cortisol levels simply cannot take this.
Home and Away fans’ convincing theory on how main character will die
Last week, Home and Away fans started speculating about Felicity’s untimely end, with one in particular having a very compelling theory.
“They meant to shoot at Cash and kill him but instead they miss and shoot Felicity. This all happens at Eden’s and Cash’s engagement party next Monday (12th of August) leading into Tuesday!”
No offence, I wish they got Cash. Eden needs his life savings to continue living in Summer Bay without a job. Haha, just kidding Cash and Eden, if you’re reading this.
Also, two shootings in Summer Bay this year? What is this, America?
Fans have been pretty devastated that Jacqui/Felicity is set to leave the Bay, with some saying she’s the best actor on the show.
“Flick, I know it’s acting but please don’t die because I will never get over that grief. Find another way of leaving the show,” one fan begged, while in huge accolades, someone else commented, “All the best you have been the best actress on the show ever.”
Jacqui Purvis teases character’s death
Way back in 2022, when we were all young and naive, Jacqui told Yahoo Lifestyle that she wanted Felicity’s exit to be ‘dramatic’.
“I want to be killed off, I want a really dramatic death, like a really intense, gory, everyone’s crying,” she said. “And yep, death, die!”
Well. I guess that’s that. Unless they reincarnate Felicity through the womb of Harper? Then Tane will raise her? That’d be pretty f***ed up, but free idea H&A writers.
See you tomorrow, I’ll be writing about Home and Away again with several tissues wadded up my nose and a new haul of trust issues to yell at my therapist about.
